Roasted Strawberries!
I got 48 ounces of strawberries last week for only $3. I was excited to try these roasted strawberries I'd seen a recipe for. I washed, hulled, and halved them then mixed them with olive oil, maple syrup, and a little salt and baked them at 350 for about 40 minutes. After they came out of the oven, I splashed a little balsamic on them (skipped the port wine called for in the recipe because I didn't have any).

Link Love
I am a delinquent blogger.
Until I get inspired to post again, here are some fun things I've seen online in the past few weeks:
Crumpled city maps on Tyvek - what a great idea!
A play-able record wedding invitation - amazing.
A call to action from the Onion. I think I should read the Onion more. It's pretty great.
I think I posted this to facebook, but it's worth another watch: inspiring dance moves from a dad/grandad?
(Last two links courtesy of Jeremy Thorne, who seems to find the most interesting things online.)

Eagle Rock Daydream Festival
Last Sunday afternoon, we borrowed a canopy and table from a friend and set up shop under the eagle rock in a little park. It was a gray day, but turned out to be a fun chance to meet some new people and sell a few things.
Colin was, as always, so helpful and supportive. We took turns hiking around the area and he also got some reading and frisbee time in.
the pasta man
Colin made a pasta bake for last week's cell group. He made so much that he had to mix it in this huge tray lid I brought back from work to re-use. We took enough for our whole cell group, have leftovers in the freezer, and I've had it for lunch all week too!
